MYE: Biology & Additional Mathematics

May 9, 2008

Since I’ve already just recently revised for these two subjects, I didn’t take long to read through my notes a second time because the content is still somewhat fresh in my head. To summarise both papers; they were both okay.

__________

Biology Paper 1:
Even though it was MCQ, I still revised for it because I know I need to score for this section to make up for the losses in Paper 2. I didn’t have the time to check every single question because I only had about 10 minutes to spare after finishing the paper. I think I’ll do okay for it. There were some questions that I don’t really get but overall, it was manageable. Don’t know if it’s enough to pull my grade to an ‘A’ but maybe a ‘B’?

Additional Mathematics Paper 1:
I have never encountered an easier A Maths Paper before. I only had trouble with one question and that was a trigonometry proving question. I skipped that particular question first and completed the rest of the paper by 1 and a half hours. I spent the rest half an hour to prove that particular trigonometry expression. Luckily for me, I managed to do it. So I think I’ll be able to do well for A Maths, even after taking careless mistakes into consideration.

__________

Well, only two more papers to go and the Mid-Year-Examinations will finally come to an end after about 1 and a half weeks. In the meantime, I’ll need to revise for Chemistry and Physics Paper 1. But I think I’ll do that over the weekend.
